Theresa Wymer recently graduated from the University of Florida’s landscape architecture program in 2014. She has begun her career as a professional in South Florida and is looking forward to discovering the vast realm of landscape architecture and is eager to learn about the profession. She began her professional career during her studies at the University of Florida as an intern for the Marion County Parks and Recreation Department in Ocala, Florida. After this experience, she attended a study abroad program with the University of Washington, participating in their design build program in Croatia. After graduating in 2014, she was hired by a medium sized land planning and landscape architecture firm in South Florida and gained invaluable knowledge about the profession. She participated in a wide variety of projects including commercial, large scale residential, and healthcare. In 2015, Theresa was hired by a small landscape architecture firm in South Florida where she has been able to work with smaller scale residential projects.
